Easy to use deodorant in a tube - packed with nourishing butters along with deodorising zinc oxide. A great option for those sensitive to baking soda.

Karanja Oil or Fractionated Coconut Oil

Vitamin E Mixed Tocopherol

Essential Oils (Suggestion: Cedarwood Virginian

20 drops & Tea Tree Organic 10 drops)

Pyrex Jug (heat resistant)
Silicone Spatula
Thermometer

Method

  1. Weigh out the butters, powders and carrier oil. TIP we sieve the powders.
  2. Weigh out vitamin E and the essential oils together.
  3. Melt the butters, powders and oils in a double boiler until melted, mixing well to ensure there are no lumps.
  4. Take off the heat and using the thermometer add in the essential oils and vitamin E when the mixture is below 45 degrees. Mix well.
  5. Pour into the tube and let it set for a couple of hours before popping the top on.
  6. Ready to use straight away.

Note: It can be poured into an amber glass pot if you don't want to use a tube. Also you can substitute the Zinc Oxide for Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) if you are not sensitive to it.
